NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 3 | Day 10

Doncic Dominates, Magic Explode, Wizards Shock Hawks

NBA Recap: November 25, 2025

The Lakers seized control of the in-season tournament stage with a 135–118 win over the Clippers, Luka Doncic erupting for 43 points, nine rebounds, and 13 assists while Austin Reaves added 31. LeBron James chipped in 25, steadying the fourth quarter as Los Angeles clinched a knockout-round berth. James Harden paced the Clippers with 29 and alongside the five starters who all scored in double figures. The Clippers rallied and took the lead in the 3rd quarter, but the Lakers responded and didn’t look back.

Orlando delivered the night’s most lopsided result, dismantling Philadelphia 144–103 behind a relentless offensive barrage including a surprising 31 from Anthony Black (of Gradey Dick jersey swap fame). The Magic’s balance overwhelmed the Sixers, who faltered after a competitive first quarter. In Washington, the Wizards stunned Atlanta 132–113, flipping expectations with a wire-to-wire win as they scored 87 first half points and won by double digits. Jalen Johnson, who has been on a tear as of late, struggled as he only scored 7 points on 25% shooting from the field.

The In-Season Tournament group stage is coming to a close and tickets to the knock-out round are quickly being claimed. Four groups have yet to be won and two wild card spots are also up for grabs, which will be determined today and Friday.

  • Advanced (8 spots): Toronto, LA Lakers

  • Eliminated: Indiana, Philadelphia, Utah, New Orleans

NBA Fast Break Recap: Day 9

Fast Break Day 9 was another day of mixed results. Unsurprisingly, Historic also had a rough day as only 43% of lineups walked away victorious. Pro mode had the highest win rate as 58% earned a win thanks to Alex Sarr who was the most utilized player and had the highest output — especially if he was your captain. Classic, on the other hand, had another lowest win rate night as only 41% of collectors earned a win.

Luka was the third most utilized player and he delivered the most assists on the night, accounting for 33% of the day’s objective. If he was your captain, that covered 50% of the goal. With that said, his performance earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day. Conversely, LeBron was the most utilized player (87%), but had a lower than expected assist output as he could only accumulate six assists. With his performance, he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day award (especially if he was your captain where he would have given you nine).

Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 10 of 13

Objective(s): 20 Assists minus Turnovers (4.0 AST-TO)

You’ll need five (5) players who will accumulate 20 or more assists than turnovers, which means each player will need to average 5.0 AST-TO. The objective is consistently one of volatility as a single player who goes negative could derail your day. It also means your captain plays a vital role to your success (or failure) as they could act as the buffer for others who fall short of the day’s target.

Top Player Options:

  • Distributes the Ball & Protects the Ball: Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham, Andrew Nembhard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Immanuel Quickley, Jamal Shead, LaMelo Ball

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: L. James (87%) | J. Harden (75%) | D. Bane (47%) | L. Doncic (39%) | J. Suggs (37%)

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Objectives remaining (after today): PTS, REB, BLK, 3PM, 3PA

  • Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 140 Points Scored (28.0 PTS)

Considerations:

  • Orlando & Washington have the fewest remaining games (1)

  • Thirteen (13) teams have the most remaining games (3)

  • The always challenging AST-TO objective lands on Day 10 (today)

  • Day 11 (tomorrow) has more than 20 teams in action, which means the most flexibility

  • There are no games scheduled on November 27th (tomorrow)

Statistical Approach:

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:

In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
