NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 3 | Day 4
Bulls win at the buzzer, Knicks survive late call, Pacers finally break through
NBA Recap: November 19, 2025
Tuesday’s nine-game slate delivered drama, upsets, and a growing list of injury concerns. In Portland, the Trail Blazers stormed back from a double-digit deficit only to fall 122–121 on a Chicago buzzer-beater, capping one of the wildest finishes of the season. In Dallas, the Mavericks thought they had a game-tying layup thanks to Brandon Williams—until it was waved off for a charge with 0.7 seconds left. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 28 points in a gritty 113–111 win.
The Pacers finally notched their second win of the season, outlasting the Hornets 127–118 behind six Pacers who scored double digits. Toronto stayed hot with a 121–112 win over Philadelphia, while Houston extended its win streak to five by beating Cleveland 114–104. Denver held off New Orleans 125–118, and Minnesota took care of Washington 120–109. The Thunder improved to 15–1 with a 113–99 win over Sacramento, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured in 33 points. Miami clamped down defensively to beat Golden State 110–96, who were without Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, Jonathan Kuminga, & Draymond Green (Miami continues to miss Tyler Herro due to injury).
In general, injuries continue to shape the early season as a high number of stars continue to miss time for various reasons. Wemby, Giannis, Trae Young, Cam Thomas, Darius Garland, Ja Morant, Anthony Davis, Kawhi, Banchero, Sabonis, and many others have been bitten by the injury bug and are different timelines for a return. Until then, this gives a prolonged opportunity for younger players to show their worth on the court.
NBA Fast Break Recap: Day 3
Classic Day 3 did not mirror Day 2 as 59% earned a win compared to 10%, but Pro & Historic were a struggle for Fast Breakers. As Steph Curry was ruled out, the certainty of a win began to fade. Fortunately, both Donovan Mitchell and Tyrese Maxey (the top two most utilized players) contributed positively to yesterday’s objective. Between the two, Tyrese had the better day as he shot 5 of 9 from outside the arc. If you had him as your captain, he delivered more than half of the required goal, so naturally he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day award.
Isaiah Joe, normally reliable from outside, went a meager 1 of 5 from outside. As he was utilized in 44% of lineups (5th highest), he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day award.
Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 4 of 13
Objective(s): 45 Rebounds (9.0 REB)
You’ll need five (5) players who will accumulate 45 or more rebounds, which means each player will need to average 9.0 REB. There are only eight teams in action today, so your options are limited, but there are enough rebounders to get you across the finish line. Your captain will either drag you across by buffering underperformers or drag you down below the required threshold. Choose wisely.
Top Player Options:
Glass Crashers: Domantas Sabonis, Ivica Zubac, Andre Drummond, Zach Edey, Wendell Carter, Jalen Johnson
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: A. Drummond (76%) | W. Carter Jr. (64%) | O. Okongwu (59%) | J. Johnson (56%) | D. Sabonis (49%)
Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:
Objectives remaining (after today):
2x: PTS, BLK
1x: STL, FGM, FGA, PITP, OREB, AST-TO, AST, 3PM, 3PA, REB
Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 125 Points Scored (25.0 PTS)
Considerations:
Golden State, Houston, LA Lakers, & Washington have the fewest remaining games (4)
Eight (8) teams have the most remaining games (6)
The always challenging AST-TO objective lands on Day 10
Day 4 (today) & 9 have less than 10 teams in action, which means least flexibility
Day 8 & 11 have more than 20 teams in action, which means most flexibility
There are no games scheduled on November 27th
There is one less day this run (13) than in the previous (14), but the run-based thresholds are the same (4, 7, & 11)
Statistical Approach:
Top players in three pointers made & three point attempts according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 average, and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:
In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
