Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 6 of 14

Objective(s): 45 Rebounds & 5 Blocks (9.0 REB & 1.0 BLK)

You’ll need five (5) players who will accumulate 45 or more rebounds & 5 or more blocks, which means each player will need to average 9.0 REB & 1.0 BLK. Today is straightforward, but either objective has the ability to derail your day if you have a lineup that tilts too heavily in one category or the other. Naturally, Wemby has the capability of reaching the minimum threhold for blocks by himself, but not having him doesn’t spell doom for your chances as there are multiple players who can deliver in both categories.

Top Player Options:

  • Little of Both: Victor Wembanyama, Ivica Zubac, Donovan Clingan, Mark Williams

  • Glass Crashers: Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic, Ivica Zubac, Nikola Vucevic, Mark Williams, Donovan Clingan

  • Shot Blockers: Victor Wembanyama, Alex Sarr, Evan Mobley, Adem Bona, Daniel Gafford, Donovan Clingan

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: N. Vucevic (71%) | E. Mobley (66%) | N. Jokic (40%) | V. Wembanyama (37%) | P. Washington (33%)

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Objectives remaining (after today): 3PM, 3PA, AST-TO, AST, STL, PITP, OREB, FGM, FGA, PTS, REB, BLK

  • Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 15 Three Pointers Made & 25 Three Point Attempts (3.0 3PM & 5.0 3PA)

Considerations:

  • Fourteen (14) teams have the most games remaining (5)

  • Sixteen (16) teams have the least remaining games (4)

  • Day 11 & 13 has 10 or less teams in action, so lineup options are more limited

  • Day 10 has 20 or more teams in action, so there is more flexibility with your lineup options

  • The always volatile & challenging AST-TO takes place on Day 13 (tomorrow for Pro mode)

Statistical Approach:

Top players in rebounds & blocks according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 (when available), and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:

In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.

Check back daily to see our lineup, adjustments along the way, and how we do with lineups that are capped to a single use per run.
