NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 2 | Day 3

Bulls Storm Back, Warriors Catch Fire, Thunder Stay Perfect

NBA Recap: November 4, 2025

Yesterday’s slate of games delivered a slate of statement wins and late-game drama, none bigger than Chicago’s 113–111 comeback over Philadelphia. The Sixers built their largest lead in the second quarter, fueled by a dominant 45-point opening frame and strong play from Tyrese Maxey, who finished with 39 points. But the Bulls clawed back behind Josh Giddey’s triple-double (29 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists) and Nikola Vucevic’s game-winning three-pointer with 3.2 seconds left, completing a stunning 113–111 comeback at the United Center.

Out west, Stephen Curry dropped 28 points and Moses Moody added 24 off the bench as the Warriors held off the Suns 118–107. Devin Booker was electric with a season-high 38, but Phoenix couldn’t overcome a 19-point halftime deficit. The Thunder stayed perfect at 8–0 with a 126–107 win over the Clippers at the Intuit Dome, while the Raptors blew out the Bucks 128–100 in Toronto. The Hawks ran past the Magic 127–112, and the Pelicans finally got their first win of the season, edging the Hornets 116–112 behind a late Brandon Ingram flurry. Yesterday was a night of redemption, resilience, and a reminder that no lead is safe in the NBA.

NBA Fast Break Results: Day 2

The script was flipped and 70% of collectors earned a win yesterday. Josh Giddey, utilized in 69% of lineups, delivered the most assists (12) of the top five and chipped in a steal. His stellar performance (along with a gritty win against the 76ers) earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day.

A fellow Bull was also in the top five (39%), but he did not have as good a night as Giddey. More specifically, Tre Jones could only deliver two assists, but contributed three steals. His performance did not warrant the Dud moniker. As such, there was not a Dud of the Day.

Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 3 of 14

Objective(s): 50 Points in the Paint & 12 Offensive Rebounds (10.0 PITP & 2.4 OREB)

You’ll need five (5) players who will accumulate 50 or more points in the painted area and 12 or more offensive boards, which means each player will need to average 10.0 PITP & 2.4 OREB. The two objectives take place on the offensive end of the court, so you’ll need players who are one of the go-to options for scoring and ideally its a player who keeps it close to the net. This includes bigs and slashers.

Top Player Options:

  • Little of Both: Domantas Sabonis, Nic Claxton

  • Inside Scorers: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic, Pascal Siakam, Cade Cunningham

  • (Offensive) Glass Crashers: Karl-Anthony Towns, Mitchell Robinson, Jalen Duren, Domantas Sabonis, Isaiah Hartenstein, Donovan Clingan, Steven Adams

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: N. Jokic (63%) | D. Sabonis (53%) | J. Duren (49%) | D. Ayton (47%) | Z. Williamson (33%)

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Objectives remaining (after today):

    • 2x: FGM, FGA, PTS, REB, BLK

    • 1x: 3PM, 3PA, AST-TO, AST, STL, PITP, OREB

  • Tomorrow’s Objective(s):

Considerations:

  • Cleveland, Dallas, Golden State, Sacramento, & San Antonio have the most games remaining (7)

  • Charlotte, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, & Toronto have the least remaining games (5)

  • There are only two (2) teams in action on Day 4 (tomorrow), so set this lineup first to avoid finding yourself in a tough spot

  • Day 11 & 13 also have 10 or less teams in action, so lineup options are more limited

  • Day 3 (today), 5, & 10 have 20 or more teams in action, so there is more flexibility with your lineup options

  • The always volatile & challenging AST-TO takes place on Day 13

Statistical Approach:

Top players in points in the paint & offensive rebounds according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 (when available), and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:

In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.

Check back daily to see our lineup, adjustments along the way, and how we do with lineups that are capped to a single use per run.

Will be posted beginning tomorrow for Run 2.
