NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 10 | Day 6
Spurs Stay Hot, Kings Break Through, Rockets Run Away
NBA Recap: February 23, 2026
Spurs 114, Pistons 103
San Antonio pushed its win streak to eight straight, leaning on a balanced, disciplined performance that Detroit never fully solved. Devin Vassell poured in 28, and Victor Wembanyama dominated with 21 points, 17 rebounds, and 6 blocks, controlling the game on both ends. Detroit got double‑doubles from Jalen Duren and Cade Cunningham, but the Spurs’ defensive length and late‑game execution kept the Pistons at arm’s length all night.
Kings 123, Grizzlies 114
With Domantas Sabonis out for the season, Sacramento’s young frontcourt continues to grow up fast. Rookie Maxime Raynaud delivered another double‑double, anchoring a Kings team that earned just its 13th win of the year. Sacramento controlled the pace early, and even a wild stretch where Scotty Pippen Jr. recorded four steals on four straight possessions couldn’t swing momentum back to Memphis. The Kings closed with poise and snapped the Grizzlies’ push late.
Jazz 105, Rockets 125
Houston detonated out of the gate, racing to a 21‑point halftime lead and never letting Utah breathe. Jabari Smith Jr. led the way with 31, while Kevin Durant and Tari Eason added double‑doubles in a performance that showcased Houston’s depth and control. Utah made small pushes behind its bench, but the Rockets’ early avalanche defined the night and carried them to a comfortable win.
