NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 9 | Day 9
Pacers Stun Knicks in OT, Rockets Surge, Suns Hold Firm, Spurs Overrun Lakers
NBA Recap: February 10, 2026
Pacers 137, Knicks 134 (OT)
Indiana walked into Madison Square Garden and stole one in overtime, grabbing just their 14th win of the season. The game stayed tight throughout, but New York’s offense froze for more than four minutes in the extra period, falling behind by nine before an 8–0 run gave them late life, but Quenton Jackson’s free throws ultimately sealed it. Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 30, and eight Pacers hit double figures. Jalen Brunson’s 40, Josh Hart’s triple‑double, and Karl‑Anthony Towns’ double‑double weren’t enough to save the Knicks.
Clippers 95, Rockets 102
Houston came out of halftime with purpose, using a strong third quarter to create separation and control the rest of the night. Kevin Durant posted a game‑high 26, Jabari Smith added a double‑double, and the Rockets’ physicality kept the Clippers chasing. LA never found a rhythm offensively, and Houston closed it out without much drama.
Mavericks 111, Suns 120
Phoenix welcomed back Devin Booker, but it was Dillon Brooks who set the scoring tone for the Suns. Dallas fell behind by 20 after the first quarter and spent the rest of the night trying to claw back. Naji Marshall erupted for 31 off the bench and Cooper Flagg added 27, sparking a late push that cut into the deficit, but the early hole was too deep to escape. Phoenix’s steadiness in the final minutes kept the comeback at arm’s length.
Spurs 136, Lakers 108
San Antonio detonated for 84 first‑half points and walked into halftime up 29, turning the rest of the night into a formality. Victor Wembanyama delivered a historic burst: 37 first‑half points, the most by any Spur in the 21st century, plus 12 rebounds in just 26 minutes. The Lakers, missing LeBron James, Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves, Deandre Ayton, and Marcus Smart, had no scoring punch—Luke Kennard’s 14 tied for the team high. The Spurs kept their foot down and handed LA a loss at home, but one that can be filed away as a byproduct of meaningful injuries.
Fast Break Recap: Day 8
At this stage of a Fast Break run, collective win rates typically wane, but yesterday saw 65% of Classic lineups walk away winners as Karl-Anthony Towns delivered 14 rebounds. If he was your captain, he contributed 21 rebounds out of the needed 50. As he had the highest volume of rebounds out of the top five, he is your Fast Break Stud of the Day.
On the other hand, Deandre Ayton was not available for the Lakers, but was available for most of the day in Fast Break. His donut for 45% of lineups who started him earned him the Fast Break Dud of the Day award.
Pro had the lowest win rate out of the three Fast Break iterations as only 5% earned a win where three pointer were needed. Historic had a positive day as 79% of lineups earned a win.
