NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 9 | Day 7

Knicks Clamp Celtics, Miami Runs Away, Clippers Stun Minnesota

NBA Recap: February 8, 2026

Knicks 111, Celtics 89

New York set the tone early and never loosened its grip. Jalen Brunson carved up Boston’s defense for 31 points, while Karl‑Anthony Towns anchored the interior with a steady double‑double. The Knicks held the Celtics to 37% shooting, and even Jaylen Brown’s 26 couldn’t spark a counterpunch. A wire‑to‑wire win that felt like New York reclaiming its edge against a regional rival.

Heat 132, Wizards 101

Miami turned this into a blowout by halftime and never looked back. Seven Heat players hit double figures, and both Andrew Wiggins and Kel’el Ware posted double‑doubles as Miami dominated the glass and the paint. A massive second quarter broke Washington’s resistance, and from there the Heat coasted to a 30‑plus‑point win that looked even bigger in real time.

Pacers 104, Raptors 122

Toronto’s third quarter was the story — a 44‑point avalanche that completely flipped the game. Scottie Barnes powered the surge with a 25‑point, 14‑rebound performance, controlling the tempo and the boards. Indiana couldn’t find a go‑to scorer (no Pacer topped 18), and once the Raptors’ run hit full speed, the gap never closed again.

Clippers 115, Timberwolves 96

The Clippers walked into Minneapolis and stunned the Wolves with one of their sharpest road performances of the season. Kawhi Leonard was unstoppable, dropping 41 and dictating every possession. Minnesota never found its footing offensively, and L.A.’s physicality and pace turned this into a comfortable, statement win.

Fast Break Recap: Day 6

With only four games on yesterday’s slate, the options were limited. Unfortunately, this translated to zero winners in Classic. Pro had a better day with 53% of participants earning a win, which turned out to be the best of the day. Historic had a rough go as only 27% earned a win.

Of the top five players, only Brunson reached the needed eight assists, which earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day. Take your pick based on your lineup for the Duds of your day.
