NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 9 | Day 4

Wizards Stun Pistons, Hornets Win 8th Straight, Spurs Run Wild in Dallas

NBA Recap: February 5, 2026

Wizards 126, Pistons 117

Washington pulled off the upset of the night as they, a 14-win team, handed Detroit their 13th loss on the season. The Wizards came out swinging and Detroit never fully recovered from the poor shooting out of the gate. Cade Cunningham did what he could as he scored 30 points, gathered 8 rebounds, and dished 8 assists, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Washington’s balanced attack of eight players in double figures.

Nets 98, Magic 118

Orlando dictated everything — tempo, spacing, and defensive tone. Brooklyn struggled to generate clean looks, and the Magic steadily widened the gap until the game tilted fully in their favor. Michael Porter, Jr. had a cold shooting night, going 2 of 13 from the field and failed to reach double digits. Egor Demin was the bright spot for the Nets as he scored 26 points on 67% shooting.

Bulls 107, Raptors 123

Toronto looked sharp from the jump, moving the ball, attacking mismatches, and keeping Chicago’s defense scrambling. The new look Bulls were out of sync for most of the night considering the reshaped roster and they had no answers for Brandon Ingram.

Jazz 119, Hawks 121

Atlanta trailed Utah going into the fourth quarter and found a way to win in the night’s closest scores. Isaiah Collier had another double-digit assist night to go along with his 25 points as he assumed primary ball-handler responsibilities as Keyonte George remains on the sidelines. Jalen Johnson’s massive triple-double (22-16-15) led the Hawks’ comeback victory, which gets them within a win of reaching .500 on the season.

Hornets 109, Rockets 99

Charlotte notched their eighth straight victory and did so against a strong Houston team. Their double digit lead in the first half was too much for the Rockets to overcome as they suffered their 19th loss on the season. Kevin Durant had the highest scoring output for Houston as he tallied 31 points.

Spurs 135, Mavericks 123

San Antonio pushed the pace and kept Dallas reacting all night, which led to the Spurs winning three of four quarters. Cooper Flagg had another standout game and is adding more fuel to the fire that he deserves the Rookie of the Year award. Although they could not overcome the Spurs’ balanced scoring effort, it is a silver lining on a challenging season.

76ers 115, Lakers 119

Los Angeles trailed coming out of the half, but their +12 point differential in the second half was the difference in this one. Although 61 points were scored between Embiid and Maxey, held on for the win. Luka only played 16 minutes, so his output was lesser than usual.

Warriors 101, Suns 97

Golden State, like other teams yesterday, trailed going into the fourth quarter. And like some, they overcame their deficit and found a way to win without key contributors. Phoenix, who continue to be without Devin Booker, could not stave off the Warriors and let a meaningful win slip through their fingers.

Fast Break Recap: Day 3

Day 3 of Classic was brutal. LaMelo was the most utilized player, but his 4 assists and no steals weren’t the worst of the top five. Luka took that prize as he only have two assists and no steals, which earned him the Fast Break Dud of the Day. On the other hand, Jalen Johnson had the most assists of the top five as he had fifteen assists, but no steals. Out of the top five, none had any steals so he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day based on his performance among the top five.

Pro only had 14% of participants earn a win compared to 79% in Historic.
