Luka Doncic dropped 42 points and 12 assists as the Lakers beat Cleveland 127-113 — thirteen consecutive 30-point games, and no signs of stopping. LUKA MAKES IT THIRTEEN GAMES
Los Angeles Lakers 127, Cleveland Cavaliers 113
Thirteen. The modern-era regular season record for consecutive 30-point games now belongs to Luka Doncic, and he extended it with the best performance of the streak — 42 points on 13-of-26 shooting (6-of-13 from three), 12 assists, 10-of-10 from the free throw line, and 69.1% true shooting. He was unstoppable in a 45-30 third quarter that turned a tied game into a runaway. Deandre Ayton went 8-of-13 for 18 points with 9 rebounds. Jake LaRavia was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field (3-of-3 from three) for 14 points off the bench and Austin Reaves had 19 points. The Lakers outscored Cleveland 78-49 in the middle two quarters and the rest was managing the lead.
Cleveland had no answer for Luka at any point in this game, and without their best players operating at their Monday-night peak — Donovan Mitchell was quiet at 10 on 4-of-10 shooting, Mobley limited to just 6 points — there was no path back into it. Jarrett Allen was the one Cleveland bright spot with 18 on 9-of-11 shooting, but Harden turned it over 3 times and shot 46.2% in a pedestrian outing. The Cavaliers remain at 47-29 as the East's 4-seed and missed a golden opportunity to shrink the gap to the 3-seed with New York’s loss.

DUREN GOES 31 ON 12-OF-13 AS DETROIT DOMINATES TORONTO
Detroit Pistons 127, Toronto Raptors 116
Jalen Duren had the most efficient individual performance of the night — 31 points on 12-of-13 shooting (all two-point attempts), 7-of-7 from the free throw line, and 96.4% true shooting. He was 12-of-13 from the field and attacked the rim with force all night, scoring 24 of his 31 in the paint. Daniss Jenkins drew 10 fouls and converted 9-of-9 from the line for 21. Duncan Robinson hit 5-of-8 from three for 19 points. Detroit shot 60.3% from the field as a team and scored 41 points in a dominant third quarter that blew the game open.
Toronto received 24 points from RJ Barrett (7-of-12, 73.2% TS) and 22 points from Brandon Ingram, but Scottie Barnes was held to 5 on 2-of-8 shooting with a troubling 4 turnovers — a performance that raises real questions about his health and form heading into the stretch. Detroit improves to 55-21 and is the East's clear 1-seed with a handful of games remaining. Barnes' sudden string of poor offensive showings is now the most pressing question mark for a Toronto team that needs him to close the season. With the loss, they fall to the 6-seed and have four teams waiting to overtake them.

HOLIDAY DROPS 30 AS PORTLAND STUNS LA CLIPPERS
Portland Trail Blazers 114, LA Clippers 104
Jrue Holiday was the story. Seven made threes on 15 attempts, 30 points on 67.2% true shooting, and the kind of performance that flips a game's narrative from the opening tip. Deni Avdija was his equal on the stat sheet — 28 points on 8-of-15 shooting, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists at 69.0% true shooting, a quietly monster line. Portland won on 32 second-chance points off 18 offensive rebounds, dominating the glass throughout. They led by as many as 19 and held on through a late Clippers rally.
Kawhi Leonard had 23 for LA and John Collins went 7-of-8 for 17. But Darius Garland had 5 turnovers and Bennedict Mathurin was 2-of-7 for 4 in a night where the Clippers' top pieces couldn't find their rhythm. Portland wins 114-104 and moves to 39-38, above .500 and putting real pressure on the Clippers (39-37) and Golden State (36-39) in the West play-in chase. The final week of the regular season just got tighter.

DURANT AND HOUSTON CONTAIN BRUNSON AND THE KNICKS
Houston Rockets 111, New York Knicks 94
Kevin Durant was efficient and complete — 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting (4-of-7 from three) with 8 assists and 2 blocks at 68.3% true shooting. Reed Sheppard came off the bench and hit 4-of-7 from three for 20 on 83.3% true shooting. Tari Eason added 17 with 8 rebounds and 2 steals. Houston built a 21-point lead in the first quarter and spent the rest of the night protecting it. They shot 42.9% from three on 35 attempts and held New York to 29.4% from deep.
Brunson was held to just 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting — a difficult night for the Knicks' best player. KAT had 22 points and 8 rebounds but turned it over once too many and was -11 in a game New York never felt like they could win. Houston moves to 46-29 and locks up the West's 5-seed alongside Minnesota heading into the final week. The Knicks slip to 48-28 — still the East's 3-seed, still comfortably positioned, but Brunson's uneven play over the last three games is worth monitoring.

CHARLOTTE SMASHES BROOKLYN
Charlotte Hornets 117, Brooklyn Nets 86
Charlotte led by 35 and barely broke a sweat. Brandon Miller had 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting (4-of-8 from three) with 77.7% true shooting — the most consistent he's been in weeks. Miles Bridges followed with 19, collecting 4 steals and scoring 12 points in the paint. Moussa Diabate double-doubled with 10 points and 12 rebounds on 72.7% true shooting and LaMelo Ball was the connective tissue — 14 points and 9 assists in a game that was decided by halftime.
Charlotte outscored Brooklyn 35-18 in the opening quarter and never took the foot off the gas. The Hornets improve to 40-36 and are now locked in a three-way East play-in fight with Miami (40-36) and Orlando (40-35) — the three teams separated by just one game heading into the final week.

ORLANDO HOLDS ON TO UPSET PHOENIX
Orlando Magic 115, Phoenix Suns 111
Jalen Suggs was the catalyst — 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting (2-of-5 from three), 7 assists, and 4 steals in his best all-around performance of the past month. Paolo Banchero had 19 with 8 assists. Desmond Bane added 21 on 53.8% true shooting. Orlando allowed Phoenix to get within 4 points in the fourth and held on through a tense finish. They forced 20 Phoenix turnovers and converted 26 points off them.
Devin Booker had 34 points for Phoenix, drawing 13 fouls and going 16-of-19 from the line, but he couldn't get enough help. Royce O'Neale quietly had 14 and 9 rebounds with 4-of-7 from three, but Dillon Brooks was 4-of-13, Grayson Allen went 4-of-14 in 35 minutes, and Jalen Green continued his cold stretch at 3-of-10 for 8. Phoenix falls to 42-34 and loses ground in the tightening West play-in and look to stay at the 7-seed. Orlando moves to 40-35 and is within striking distance of the final playoff spot with a huge late-season win.

ROLLINS STARS IN MILWAUKEE'S BLOWOUT OF DALLAS
Milwaukee Bucks 123, Dallas Mavericks 99
It was a battle of two cellar dwellers that have more impact on lottery odds than playoff chances. However, Ryan Rollins delivered his best game of the season — 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting (4-of-9 from three) with 9 assists and 76.1% true shooting. Myles Turner only had 10 points but was the defensive force behind 4 blocks as Milwaukee controlled the interior all night. AJ Green hit 4-of-6 from three for 17 points off the bench, Ousmane Dieng double-doubled with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Milwaukee led by 31 at their biggest margin and shot 37.0% from three as a team on 54 attempts.
Dallas dropped to 24-52 with another ugly shooting performance — Cooper Flagg went 6-of-19 for 19 points, Max Christie was cold from the field as he shot 1-of-12, and the Mavericks have now lost three consecutive games by double digits heading into the final stretch. This is a team in full lottery posture. Milwaukee improves to 30-45 — still well outside playoff range but playing with energy in the final weeks, and Rollins' emergence is a genuine storyline for the offseason.

⭐ STAR OF THE NIGHT
Luka Doncic | Los Angeles Lakers - 42 PTS | 13-26 FG | 6-13 3PT | 12 AST | 10-10 FT | 69.1% TS
Thirteen consecutive 30-point games. Modern-era regular season record. He did it in the most dominant fashion of the entire streak — 42 points, 12 assists, perfect from the free throw line, with a 45-30 third quarter that buried Cleveland. Luka maintains his inclusion in the MVP conversation.
💀 DUD OF THE NIGHT
Scottie Barnes | Toronto Raptors - 5 PTS | 2-8 FG | 4 TO | -21 | L
Barnes has now had back-to-back games where he's been a liability rather than a driver — 9-of-29 Monday, 2-of-8 Tuesday. He generated 12 assists, which kept him somewhat useful on paper, but Toronto needs him to score and create at the level he was playing two weeks ago. Detroit handled this game in the third quarter, and Barnes' absence as an offensive force was felt throughout.
QUICK TAKES
Luka at 13. The record belongs to him alone. With a few games remaining, he has a real chance to push it further. Nobody in the modern era has been here.
Portland is 39-38 and the West play-in is a four-team mess — Portland, LA Clippers (39-37), Golden State (36-39), and Phoenix (42-34) are separated by four games for three play-in spots. Holiday and Avdija both going for 28+ in the same game is not something defenses can plan for.
Jalen Duren: 31 points, 12-of-13 from the field, 96.4% TS. On the same night Luka went for 42, the most efficient individual performance belongs to Detroit's center.
Charlotte, Miami, and Orlando are all at 40-35 or 40-36 entering the final week. All three are fighting for the East's 7 and 8 seeds. LaMelo's 9-assist night, Bridges' 4 steals — Charlotte is playing their best basketball of the second half.
Phoenix has now dropped two straight after three consecutive wins. Booker can't win games alone when Green, Brooks, and Allen all go cold. The West play-in is not secured.
Brunson had 12 on 5-of-14 shooting. The Knicks are 48-28 with the 3-seed locked, so this is not a crisis — but Brunson has been uneven in the last three games and New York will need him clicking in round one.
Detroit at 55-21. The East's best team flexed with 60.3% shooting and a 41-point third quarter against a Toronto team that was fighting for seeding. Duren looked like the dominant force Detroit needs him to be in the playoffs.
