Nikola Jokic triple-doubled his way through Portland with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists as Denver handled the Blazers to remind the West who's still here. The Knicks put up 145 on Washington with seven players in double figures and shot 53.1% from three. Sacramento's bench dropped 71 points to hold off Brooklyn in a four-point finish. Phoenix came out of a back-to-back scare to blow out Toronto by 22 behind Jalen Green's 20 and a 45% three-point night. Five games, Sunday slate. Let's run it.
JOKIC TRIPLE-DOUBLES, DENVER BURIES PORTLAND
Denver Nuggets 128, Portland Trail Blazers 112
Nikola Jokic doesn't take days off. On a Sunday afternoon matinee, he put up 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists — the triple-double almost routine at this point in his career, the efficiency as striking as ever. He shot 10-of-18 from the field, got to the line 4 times, and went +19 in a game Denver led by as many as 20. Cameron Johnson was the offensive pop off the bench: 19 on 7-of-10 shooting (5-of-7 from three, 71.4%), 95.0% true shooting and a team-best +19. Jamal Murray had 22 on 4-of-9 from deep and distributed 7 assists while Christian Braun contributed 15 with 8 fast-break points. Denver was efficient everywhere — 54.4% from the field, 39.1% from three, 27 fast-break points on 78.6% conversion.
Portland had no answer for Denver's size and pace. Deni Avdija led the Blazers with 23 and 14 assists — his own double-double — but went -24 in the loss. Robert Williams III had 16 on 8-of-10 shooting as Portland’s second highest scorer. As a team, Portland gave up 27 fast-break points and shot just 32% from three on 50 attempts. The loss snaps Portland's back-to-back winning momentum from the week and raises questions about their defensive ceiling. Denver, meanwhile, sends a message: a healthy, locked-in Nuggets team is still a serious problem for any Western Conference contender and is not a first round matchup anyone wants.

NEW YORK EXPLODES, BENCH GOES NUCLEAR
New York Knicks 145, Washington Wizards 113
The Knicks were never in any danger. They led by 33 at one point and shot 53.1% from three (17-of-32) while putting seven players in double figures. The bench alone scored 57 points. Josh Hart had 16 with 3-of-3 from deep and 4 assists, Mikal Bridges had 14 with 6 assists and was +28, and Mitchell Robinson was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field with 10 rebounds — 6-of-6 from the line in a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double that took maybe 18 minutes of work. Elsewhere, Jeremy Sochan added 8 off the bench with 6 rebounds and Tyler Kolek hit all 4 of his attempts including all 3 threes for 11 quiet points. New York's team true shooting percentage of 70.8% is among the best marks by any team this season.
Washington fought to the final buzzer statistically — they had 12 steals and scored 113 — but the Wizards were never in this game. Bub Carrington had 14 and 8 assists in a lost effort, Bilal Coulibaly chipped in 13, and Anthony Gill was efficient off the bench with 18. But the talent gap showed from the opening tip. New York keeps rolling and sit comfortably in 3rd place in the East with 10 games remaining in their regular season.

MINNESOTA ENDS BOSTON'S STREAK
Minnesota Timberwolves 102, Boston Celtics 92
The Celtics' five-game win streak is over, and it ended unglamorously. Boston shot 35.8% from the field — the worst mark of any team tonight — and generated only 17 assists on 34 made field goals. Jayson Tatum double-doubled with 16 and 11 rebounds but shot 37.5% from the field. Jaylen Brown led with 29, but it took him 26 shots to get there. The Celtics looked disjointed, disconnected on offense, and couldn't generate any consistent secondary scoring.
Minnesota were without Anthony Edwards, but they won it with depth and defense. Bones Hyland came off the bench for 23 on 8-of-14 shooting (3-of-7 from three), 73.0% true shooting, and was +26 — the best plus-minus on either team. Ayo Dosunmu had 17 with 8 rebounds and 6 assists, playing with the controlled aggression that has defined his best performances. Jaden McDaniels scored 19 on 42.9% shooting and was a -3 but provided the defensive intensity that kept Boston off-rhythm all night. The Timberwolves held the Celtics to just 22 fast-break points and generated 22 of their own, which was a meaningful wash. Minnesota currently sits in 6th place in a crowded Western Conference, but have a legitimate chance at making a run.

SACRAMENTO BENCH GOES OFF IN A FIGHT TO THE FINISH
Sacramento Kings 126, Brooklyn Nets 122
The Nets, Wizards, and Pacers all have worse records than the Kings and a higher chance at locking in one of the top three picks in the upcoming NBA Draft, so Sacramento chose to play instead of tanking. Tonight, they needed every one of its 71 bench points to survive this one. Precious Achiuwa double-doubled off the pine with 14 and 15 rebounds — including 6 offensive — creating second-chance opportunities that proved decisive. Maxime Raynaud led the team with 22 on 10-of-13 shooting (all twos) with 10 rebounds — his own double-double on 74.5% true shooting. The Kings generated 28 second-chance points on 17 offensive boards, the most physical interior performance by any team this week. DeMar DeRozan had 10 and 8 assists, running the offense efficiently. Sacramento rallied from a 6-point first-half deficit with a dominant third quarter (28-20) and held on as Brooklyn made a final push.
Brooklyn was right there until the end. Ben Saraf had 22 on 10-of-20 shooting — all inside the arc — with 5 assists. Ziaire Williams scored 18 on 54.5% shooting and Nolan Traore added 17 off the bench. Brooklyn shot 52.3% from the field and had only 7 turnovers — a clean, well-executed offensive performance — but couldn't match Sacramento's rebounding advantage on the glass. This is the best case scenario for a team looking for a top three pick. Play just enough to look competitive without winning.

PHOENIX BLOWS OUT TORONTO ON A TIRED SUNDAY NIGHT
Phoenix Suns 120, Toronto Raptors 98
Phoenix came in on the second night of a back-to-back and still built a 31-point lead. Jalen Green had 20 on 8-of-15 shooting with 7 assists — his best playmaking night of the season — and Phoenix shot 45% from three (18-of-40) as a team, including a 4-of-6 effort from Collin Gillespie (16 points, 88.9% true shooting) and Ryan Dunn's 12 with 3 steals and 75% true shooting. The Suns had 12 steals on the night and built an early 14-0 run in the first quarter that effectively ended the game before halftime. Khaman Maluach was a surprising standout in limited minutes — 7 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks.
Brandon Ingram had the kind of night that raises more questions than it answers: 6 points on 3-of-10 shooting, 5 turnovers, -29 in 27 minutes. He was the worst-performing starter on either team by efficiency margin. The Raptors got contributions from Ja'Kobe Walter (13, 3-of-3 from three) and Gradey Dick (10 with 4 free throws made) off the bench, but it was never close after the first four minutes. Toronto's defense allowed Phoenix to shoot 88.9% from midrange — a historically bad midrange defensive performance. Phoenix bounces back after Saturday's close loss to Milwaukee and secures consecutive home wins.

⭐ STAR OF THE NIGHT
Nikola Jokic | Denver Nuggets - 22 PTS | 14 REB | 14 AST | 10-18 FG | +19
Triple-doubles at this point in Jokic's career are not surprises — they're expected. What makes this one notable is the context: Portland came in with momentum, Denver needed a statement, and Jokic delivered the complete game. Fourteen assists without a sloppy turnover trail, 14 rebounds anchoring the defense, 22 points that came without any desperation. This is what sustainable, system-defining brilliance looks like. The MVP race includes SGA, Luka, and Wemby, but Joker is also in contention.
💀 DUD OF THE NIGHT
Brandon Ingram | Toronto Raptors - 6 PTS | 3-10 FG | 5 TO | -29 | 30.0% TS
The Raptors needed their wing scorer to show up on the road, and Ingram was invisible in the worst way — not just quiet, but actively damaging. Five turnovers in 27 minutes. A -29 that was the worst mark of any player tonight by nearly 10 points. Toronto stayed in games this week on the back of their bench depth, but that only works when the starters are at least functional. Ingram was neither.
QUICK TAKES
Nikola Jokic has now triple-doubled in back-to-back games. That's the kind of form you want heading into April.
The Knicks' bench scored 57 points. Their bench. In a game. New York's depth is a real weapon in a potential playoff run.
Boston's offense shot 35.8% from the field and generated only 17 assists. The Celtics look like a team still searching for their best identity post-injury. The five-game win streak masked some issues that showed up tonight.
Minnesota's defensive performance against Boston was one of the best of the week — they held a quality team to 92 points and won comfortably. The Timberwolves are the West's most dangerous underdog right now.
Bones Hyland had 23 points and was +26 off the bench for Minnesota. He's playing his best ball of the season at exactly the right time.
Deni Avdija had 23 points and 14 assists in a loss for Portland. He's emerged as one of the most well-rounded young forwards in the league this season.
Sacramento's bench outscored Brooklyn's bench 71-65 and that was the margin of difference. Kings depth won this game.
Phoenix shot 45% from three and had 12 steals on the second night of a back-to-back. That's a team with real energy heading into the stretch run.
