Run 12 | Day 2

Historic managers had a near-perfect opening night, with a staggering 96% earning a win. Classic collectors held their own at 56%, while Pro turned into a graveyard — just 15% survived, a brutal start for those chasing the hardest tier.

Day 1's objective was built for big men: 100 points and 25 rebounds across five players — roughly 20 points and 5 boards per player to carry their share.

The eligible pool made it look easy. Jalen Duren (29% utilization) stole the show with a career-high 36 points and 12 rebounds, shooting 13-of-17 from the field and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line as Detroit handled Washington 130-117 — carrying most of the offensive load after Cade Cunningham exited in the first quarter with back spasms. The least-rostered option on the board put up the biggest number. Paolo Banchero (34%) was nearly as dominant, posting 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in Orlando's 108-113 loss to OKC — a complete performance that came on the wrong side of a Shai Gilgeous-Alexander takeover. Karl-Anthony Towns (71%) delivered 22 points and 11 rebounds as New York erased a 20-point deficit to down Indiana 136-110, anchoring the points-and-boards combo at the top of the utilization chart. Nikola Jokic (67%) was Jokic — recording his fifth consecutive triple-double with 14 assists headlining the line in Denver's 124-96 dismantling of a short-handed Philadelphia squad. Victor Wembanyama (45%) was the quietest of the five, putting up 18 points and 8 rebounds in just 22 minutes as San Antonio blew out Sacramento 132-104.

With Duren and Banchero combining for 68 points and 22 rebounds alone, collectors who rostered both were sitting comfortably before most fourth quarters even started. The real question was always Pro — and at 15%, that tier had its own math to survive.

Fast Break Stud of the Day: Jalen Duren — career-high 36 points and 12 rebounds at just 29% utilization. The most overlooked name available delivered the best performance of the night.

Fast Break Dud of the Day: Victor Wembanyama — 18 points and 8 rebounds in 22 minutes at 45% utilization. A quiet night by Wemby's standards, though in a 28-point blowout, the minutes simply weren't there to pad the stat line.
