NBA Fast Break | Classic
Run 11 | Day 6
Fast Break Results: March 8, 2026
Pro mode had the highest win rate out of the three iterations of Fast Break as 58% of collectors walked away happy. Classic was less successful as only 43% earned a win, but the worst of the trio was Historic where only 5% earned a win, which is uncommon.
Yesterday's objective was 50 points in the paint and 10 offensive rebounds across five players — roughly 10 points in the paint and 2 offensive rebounds per player to carry their weight.
The paint scoring was never really in doubt. Zion Williamson (82% utilization) was his usual devastating self in the post, dropping 20 points in the paint on 75% shooting in New Orleans' 138-118 blowout win over Washington — he did his job and then some. Jalen Duren (50%) matched him exactly, posting 20 points in the paint on a jaw-dropping 83% shooting night as Detroit fell 121-110 to Miami. Alperen Sengun (63%) contributed 10 in the paint in a tough night for Houston, which got routed 145-120 in San Antonio. Amen Thompson (42%) added 14 points in the paint in that same game, giving the two Rockets a combined 24.
Fast Break Stud of the Day: Zion Williamson — 20 points in the paint on 75% shooting and 2 offensive rebounds. The only player in the top five who delivered on both sides of the objective, doing his part on the points threshold while also chipping in on the rebounding column.
Fast Break Dud of the Day: Giannis Antetokounmpo — 25% utilization and a DNP. Anyone who started Giannis had little hope of making up the difference with other players; especially for offensive rebounds.
Today’s Fast Break Overview:
Objective(s): 35 Assists (7.0 AST)
Games Today: 5
Considerations:
Brooklyn, Dallas, Golden State, LA Clippers, Memphis & Philadelphia have the most games remaining (5)
Charlotte, Miami, New Orleans & OKC have the fewest games remaining (3)
Cleveland & New York are each playing the tail end of a back-to-back tonight (Day 6)
Brooklyn, Golden State, Memphis & Philadelphia are each playing the tail end of a back-to-back tomorrow (Day 7)
Charlotte & Miami's last game of this run takes place on Day 11 (March 14)
Today (Day 6) has the least flexibility this run with only ten (10) teams in action across five games
Day 7 (tomorrow) has twenty-two (22) teams in action, making it the most flexible remaining day
AST-TO continues to be missing in action, which is a good thing for most Fast Break participants
