NBA Fast Break | Classic
Run 11 | Day 5
Fast Break Results: March 7, 2026
Classic managers cashed in as 92% earned a win. Historic was right behind at 90%, making it a rare slate where the two most popular modes ran in lockstep. Pro was the disaster of the evening at just 2% earned a win and the majority were buried, a reversal relative to the past couple days.
Yesterday's objective was 12 three-pointers made and 25 three-point attempts across five players — roughly 2.4 threes made and 5.0 attempts per player to carry their weight.
The chalk delivered in volume if not always in efficiency. Michael Porter Jr. (83% utilization) went 3-of-12 from three — inefficient, but 12 attempts alone nearly covered the full 5.0 per-player threshold by himself. Anthony Edwards (74%) was the standout of the night, going 5-of-9 from three for 34 points in Minnesota's 92-119 blowout loss to Orlando. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (62%) chipped in a solid 4-of-9, and Duncan Robinson (47%) was the most efficient of the group at 3-of-5. The one weak link was Donte DiVincenzo (65%), who went 0-of-6 from three — all attempts, zero makes — disastrous for any collectors who had their sights set on a daily reward, but not enough to sink most lineups.
Fast Break Stud of the Day: Anthony Edwards — 34 points and 5-of-9 from three. The most efficient shooting night among the top utilization players and the anchor of winning lineups.
Fast Break Dud of the Day: Donte DiVincenzo — 0-of-6 from three. All the attempts, none of the makes. At 65% utilization he was in the majority of lineups, and managers who needed him to contribute to the makes column got nothing.
Today’s Fast Break Overview:
Objective(s): 50 Points in the Paint & 10 Offensive Rebounds (10.0 PITP & 2.0 OREB)
Games Today: 6
Considerations:
Dallas has the most games remaining (6)
Oklahoma City has the fewest games remaining (3)
Cleveland & New York are each playing the tail end of a back-to-back tomorrow (Day 6)
Detroit, Milwaukee & Orlando are each playing the tail end of a back-to-back today (Day 5) — notably, Milwaukee and Orlando play each other tonight
Charlotte & Miami's last game of this run takes place on Day 11 (March 14)
Day 6 (March 9) has the least flexibility this run as it only has ten (10) teams in action
Day 5 (tomorrow) & Day 7 (March 10) have twenty (20) or more teams in action, so these days have the most flexibility
AST-TO continues to be missing in action, which is a good thing for most Fast Break participants
