Run 11 | Day 4

Fast Break Results: March 6, 2026

Classic managers had a brutal night at 19% — and the story pretty much writes itself once you see the box scores. Historic came in at 48%, a coin flip depending on who you built around. Pro led the pack at a surprising 67%, a rare reversal where the hardest mode was actually the most forgiving.

Yesterday's Classic objectives were 35 assists and 5 steals across five players — 7 assists and 1 steal per player to earn a win.

The steals threshold was never the problem. Luka Doncic (76% utilization) put up 44 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals in three quarters against Indiana before sitting out the fourth, and Jokic added 2 more. The assists were the issue — and Jamal Murray's ankle injury is the reason why. Murray (53% utilization) had 12 points and went down in the first half after stepping on Jokic's foot, leaving managers who built around him with almost nothing in the dimes column. Nikola Jokic (65%) finished with 38 points and 5 assists in 31 minutes as the Nuggets got routed 142-103 by the Knicks, but with Murray gone the playmaking production from that game dried up fast.

The one manager-saver on the night was Stephon Castle at just 40% utilization. The Spurs guard quietly dropped 12 assists in San Antonio's win over the Clippers, single-handedly rescuing lineups that had him and covering the assist gap left by Murray's early exit. LaMelo Ball (81%) meanwhile put up just 5 assists in Charlotte's loss to Miami — well short of the 7-assist per-player threshold and a costly night for the overwhelming majority of Classic managers who rostered him.

Fast Break Stud of the Day: Stephon Castle — 12 assists at 40% utilization. The managers who went off the board to roster him were rewarded handsomely while everyone else scrambled.

Fast Break Dud of the Day: Jamal Murray — a first-half ankle injury ended his night at 12 points and almost no assist contribution. Managers who relied on him for playmaking production got nothing.

  • Day 6 (March 9) has the least flexibility this run as it only has ten (10) teams in action
