NBA Fast Break | Classic
Run 11 | Day 3
Fast Break Results: March 5, 2026
Historic managers had a dominant night with a 96% win rate — about as close to a freebie as Fast Break gets. Classic came in at 69%, a solid majority but with some lineup-dependent variance. Pro oddly edged Classic at 70%, which doesn't happen often, though both modes tell a similar story: the right players made the difference.
Yesterday's objective was 50 rebounds and 5 blocks across your five-player lineup in Classic mode — roughly 10 boards and 1 block per player to pull weight.
Victor Wembanyama (69% utilization) was the clear difference-maker. He put up 16 rebounds and 5 blocks in the Spurs' win over Detroit, essentially covering the entire blocks threshold by himself. Pair him with Rudy Gobert — the most-used player at 88%, who added 12 rebounds and 3 blocks in Minnesota's win over Toronto — and most lineups were already in a great position before the other three players even tipped off.
From there, results dropped off. Scottie Barnes (56%) grabbed just 2 rebounds in Toronto's loss, well short of the 10-board benchmark. Bam Adebayo (32%) finished with 7 rebounds and 1 block in Miami's win over Brooklyn — contributed a block, but left boards on the table. Jalen Duren (39%) was the real problem: just 12 minutes of action against San Antonio, resulting in 7 rebounds and 0 blocks. Managers banking on Duren for production got very little to work with.
Fast Break Stud of the Day: Victor Wembanyama — 16 rebounds and 5 blocks single-handedly carried the objective for managers who rostered him.
Fast Break Dud of the Day: Jalen Duren — 7 rebounds, zero blocks. The Pistons' game flow never gave him a chance to contribute, and lineups that relied on him paid the price.
Today’s Fast Break Overview:
Objective(s): 35 Assists & 5 Steals (7.0 AST & 1.0 STL)
Games Today: 7
Considerations:
Dallas & LA Clippers are tied for the most games remaining this run (7)
Oklahoma City, Sacramento & Cleveland each have the fewest games remaining (4)
LA Clippers is playing the tail end of a back-to-back on Day 4 (March 7)
Charlotte & Miami's last game of this run still takes place on Day 11 (March 14)
Day 6 (March 9) has the least flexibility this run as it only has ten (10) teams in action
Day 5 (March 8) & Day 7 (March 10) have twenty (20) or more teams in action, so these days have the most flexibility
AST-TO continues to be missing in action, which is a good thing for most Fast Break participants
