NBA Fast Break Run 7 | Day 6

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 125 Points Scored to earn your win.

Recap & Overview:

Day 5 lived up to the billing as a challenging day, which became more so when Steph Curry (who was utilized in over 80% of lineups) was ruled out for the day. If you were one of the 51% who included CJ McCollum in your lineup, you were set up nicely for a win as he chipped in 6 3PM out of 11 3PA. As he delivered 40% of the 3PM objective, he is your Fast Break Stud of the Day. Honorable mention goes to Isaiah Joe who sank a whopping eight (8) three pointers for OKC. Jordan Poole contributed six (6) while Banchero, Paul George, Keegan Murray, and Jordan Hawkins each had five (5) 3PM. On the other end of the spectrum, Derrick White and the Boston Celtics lost to a surging Sacramento team who have won six straight after losing the previous five straight. DW went a forgettable 0 for 6 from outside and earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day Award and was the likely culprit to many of the losses yesterday.

With only 36% of lineups earning a win on Day 5, we went from 1,000+ perfect records to 538 with nine (9) days remaining in this run. Considering today’s objective, anticipate this number to drop further. In order to be in the running for the 11-win pack, you’ll need at least two (2) wins to date.

If you are an NFL All Day collector, Wild Card Playoff weekend means Playbook is not limited to Sunday so set your lineups if you have not do so already. Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 6 requires five (5) players who will score 125.0 or more points, which means your lineup will need to average 25.0 PTS per player. This is a straightforward objective and there are a number of players who have shown they can deliver 30+ points on any given night. The challenge, though, is whether tonight is that night. Between projections and last 10 games, only three (3) players have exceeded 25.0 in both - KD, Ant, and Cade. As of this article, LaMelo is the highest used player at over 80% and with good reason on a normal day…but the two games featuring the Lakers and the Clippers (which include the Hornets and Spurs) have been postponed due to the devastating Palisades Fires.

After scoring 30+ in three straight games, Ant came down to Earth a bit in his previous game as he scored 21 against the Magic on Thursday. KD, on the other hand, has scored 25+ in 7 of his last 10 games. Cade is a bit of a wild card as 4 of his last 10 have come with 30+ points, but 5 of his last 10 he scored 20 or less. So long as you can avoid the sub-20 point scorers, you should be in good position to earn a win today.

With Steph Curry ruled out, we needed to scramble and subbed in Payton Pritchard. We considered Buddy Hield as an alternative, but opted to go with Payton as he has had a stellar year from outside…which almost cost us the win today. Fortunately, CJ McCollum carried us to win #4 as we landed on 15 3PM and survived Day 5. Due to the two Los Angeles game postponements, we needed to shift some players around. LaMelo was moved to Day 10, Jalen Green was moved to Day 6, and Derrick White was added back onto Day 13. Additional changes may be needed based on when the two games are rescheduled.
